FAQ

How do I get support?

Get help with MinecraftAFK in our Discord server, by email at contact@valoks.com, or in a live chat our support team opens with you in the dashboard.

You can reach us in our Discord server or by email, and when it helps, we can open a chat with you inside the dashboard. Tier 2 and Tier 3 include priority support.

Discord

Our Discord server is where you get help and chat with the community.

  1. Link your Discord account under Login methods in User settings. Discord is required to receive support in our server. See Link your Discord account.
  2. Join the server and ask in a support channel.

Support isn't only in English. If you'd rather ask in your own language, look for its role and channel in the server.

Email

Write to contact@valoks.com. Send it from the address your MinecraftAFK account uses, so we can find your account straight away.

Live chat in the dashboard

Our support team can open a live chat with you inside the dashboard. You can't start one yourself, and nothing shows until we do.

  • It slides in from the right as MinecraftAFK Support. The page behind it keeps working, so you can follow along while we talk.
  • Minimise it with the button at its top, or click anywhere outside it. A Support button at the right end of the page header brings it back. It turns red and shows a count when there are messages you haven't read.
  • Only support can end the chat. When we do, it disappears.

Can't sign in?

If you signed in with Discord and lost that Discord account, or you can't get in any other way, email contact@valoks.com. You don't need a Discord login for that. Write from the email address your MinecraftAFK account uses if you still have it, and say how you used to sign in.

If you think someone else has taken over your MinecraftAFK account, tell us at legal@valoks.com as well, as the Terms of Service ask.

While you can still sign in, add a second way in, so that losing one doesn't lock you out: create a password, or connect Google or Discord, under Login methods. See How do I change my account settings?

What to send about a connection problem

Many connection problems have a known fix: Fix connection problems goes through each status, warning and popup. If you still need us, send:

  • The server address and the account's name.
  • The kick message. Hover the warning next to the account's status on the profile's Connect page to read it.
  • The account's logs. Open View logs from the account's row, then Copy or Download them. See Account logs.
  • What you expected to happen, what happened instead, and roughly when.

If every account dropped at the same moment, check our status page first.

Help in the dashboard

The user menu at the bottom of the sidebar has Help & Support, with three links:

  • Documentation opens these docs.
  • Send Feedback opens our Trustpilot page.
  • Discord Community opens our Discord server.

What we'll never ask for

We will never ask for your Minecraft or Microsoft password, message you first on Discord asking for account details, a login code or a token, or send you an in-game verification request you didn't start. Anyone who does isn't us. Our security page lists what else to watch for.
