Auto eat

Keep your Minecraft accounts fed while they're AFK. Auto eat watches the hunger bar and eats from the off hand, the hotbar or the inventory on its own.

Auto eat keeps an account fed without you watching it. Tick an account in the Auto eat section of the movement page and its bot watches its own hunger bar, picks food out of what it's already carrying, and eats when eating is worth it. Nothing has to be held and nothing has to be in the hand.

The setting is saved on the account, so it survives a refresh and starts again by itself after a reconnect. Auto eat is part of bot movement, so it needs Tier 2 or Tier 3.

When it eats

The bot waits until the hunger bar has dropped far enough to use the food in full, so none of it is thrown away. Steak fills four shanks, so it waits until four are missing. A golden carrot fills three, so it waits for three.

It can't go hungry waiting for a better moment: the most filling food in the game is rabbit stew at five shanks, so a bar at five or below is already low enough for anything the bot could be holding.

Where it takes food from

It uses the food that's easiest to reach, not the best food it owns:

  1. The off hand, if there's already food there.
  2. The hotbar, including whatever's in the hand.
  3. The inventory. With no food in either place, the bot opens its inventory and moves a stack into the off hand, where it then stays.

An off hand that already holds something is never emptied. A totem, a shield or a map stays exactly where it is and the bot feeds from the hotbar instead.

What it won't eat

These are refused at any hunger level:

  • Rotten flesh, which brings Hunger and starts the bar draining again straight away.
  • Spider eyes, poisonous potatoes and pufferfish, which poison the bot.
  • Chorus fruit, which teleports it away from the spot you parked it in.
  • Suspicious stew and ominous bottles, which carry an effect nobody chose.
  • Golden apples and enchanted golden apples, which are worth keeping for a fight.

The golden apples are a flat refusal and not a last resort: a bot whose only food is golden apples goes hungry rather than spending them. If you want one eaten, right click it in the bot's hand from the inventory page.
