Minehut captcha bypass

Minehut shows a captcha the first time an account joins from a given address. It is a human-interaction test by design, so a bot cannot answer it: your account connects, gets held in Minehut's verification area, and either sits there or drops back out. Nothing is broken, and nothing in the logs says what happened.

The way through is to answer it once, yourself, as the account the bot uses. MinecraftAFK gives you a way to play from your own Minecraft client through your bot's connection, so the captcha is answered for exactly the account and address Minehut will see the bot arrive from.

Before you start

• A paid plan, with the Minecraft account already added in the dashboard.
• A server profile pointing at minehut.gg (or minehut.com), with that account attached.
• Minecraft installed on your own computer. You only need it for this one-off step.

Connect Minecraft to your dashboard

The Minecraft connections card on your settings page is where this lives.

1. Open Minecraft, go to Multiplayer → Add Server, and enter mc.minecraftafk.com as the server address. This goes in the game, not in your dashboard server profiles.
2. Join it. You are held in a waiting area, and a link appears in the game chat. The link is single-use and expires after about ten minutes.
3. Open that link in a browser you are signed in to MinecraftAFK on. Check that the connecting address matches yours, then approve it. The connection lasts 8 hours.

Once approved, go back to the game. You can now see your server profiles and play as any of your Minecraft accounts.

Answer the captcha

1. Pick the account your Minehut profile uses, and join Minehut through it.
2. Complete the captcha the way Minehut asks.
3. Leave, and go back to your dashboard.

Your bot connects as the same account, through the same proxy, so Minehut treats it as the player that already answered. Connect it from the Connect tab as normal.

When you have to do it again

Minehut ties the answer to the account and the address it joined from, so the captcha comes back whenever either changes:

• A new account. Every account answers its own captcha.
• A new proxy. Moving an account onto a different proxy, or buying extra proxies and reassigning it, is a new address as far as Minehut is concerned. A setup that worked yesterday will stop working the moment the proxy under it changes.

The dashboard blocks the first connect for each account-and-proxy pair and points you here, so you do not have to keep track of this yourself. If you have already answered the captcha for a pair, use I've already done this in that prompt and the account connects normally.

If it still does not work

• Check the profile address. minehut.gg and minehut.com both work; a typo does not. Our server compatibility checker will tell you whether the address is reachable at all.
• Check the 8 hours have not run out. The Minecraft connection expires on a fixed 8-hour clock. If it lapsed mid-way, rejoin mc.minecraftafk.com and approve a fresh link.
• Check you used the right account. The captcha counts for the account you played as, not for every account on the profile.
